I am an illustrator that works mainly with watercolor and ink. My pink studio is situated at Bryggen in Bergen, Norway.

While I'm waiting for my new wepage they serve as a showcase of my work.

From time to time I get questions about how I work and what inspires me, and I'm not even near being finished answering here. But I'll post some new q&a during this week, I just need to nail the rest of the page first:)
Here goes:
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Everything. Music, people, films, life. Humour. Everything.
When did you decide on becoming an illustrator?
I didn't, it happened by itself gradually after enjoying to draw alot. But I knew I wanted to work with something creative.
Can me and a friend come and visit you at your studio?
Yes, please! I love parties! Drinks all around!
Can you review my work?
No, I'm sorry, I've had to stop that now, but I wish you all the luck with your education/project:) I really do.
Can we interview you for a school project?
Yes, please come and visit if the q&a wasn't what you sought for.:)
Do you take interns?
Depends on what you want to do, I'm actually not sure what interesting work I can give you. I don't believe in making interns make coffee for a week. But I am in sore need of someone that can work as an assistant once a week in November, I need help framing pictures, packing for markets and send out goods from my webshop.
Can I send you my text and maybe we can work together?
For the moment I'm full up with side projects with other people, and only accepting paid tasks. But if it's projects that are well planned and texts have been "washed" and are not due for another year please send me an email, I love new collaborations:)
Why don't you answer my call after I tried to reach you 20 times with my good idea for a project?
E-mail me:) Give me time give you a well thought through answer:) (Insisting freaks me out)
How do you start working when you recieve a text? I don’t know what other artists do, but I usually read the text/story a few times and quickly start drawing out whatever ideas I get in tiny tiny sketches in pencil. Sometimes I just write. Then I go through what’ve drawn and choose a few examples I go over with with other people if there are some around.
If I'm unsure, it makes it clearer for myself which sketch I like best if I hear myself explain it to other pepople.
How much research do you do before drawing something out? (Answer coming soon, I need time to translate to English:))
Do you always make storyboards? (Answer coming soon, I need time to translate to English:))
How much is the author involved in the images you make? (Answer coming soon, I need time to translate to English:))
How to I get jobs as a designer/illustrator/artist?? (Answer coming soon, I need time to translate to English:))
How to I get my work published? (Answer coming soon, I need time to translate to English:))
This q&a page is really quickly made up, I'll make it prettier when I've finished the gallery.
